Hello, welcome and thanks for visiting our site.  GMC Motorhome Reclamation
Services or  GEMRECS, is dedicated solely to supporting the GMC community
with OEM used and a few new, parts for the GMC Motorhome.

Our parts come from purchased "donor" GMCs and other sources.  We have six
donor GMCs and a moderate inventory of parts not installed in the GMCs.

Located in Houston, Texas, our business comes from GMC owners and vendors
typically through the internet and phone orders.  We also attend GMC
rallies, three in our first year to Rayne, LA. Mathis, TX. and Amana, IA.
We plan on attending the GMCMI rally this month in Santa Rosa, CA., God
willing, towing our 6x12 trailer full of GMC parts.

In addition to serviceable parts, we also sell core items to other GMC
vendors and individuals.  Some items are checked and if good, offered for
sale.  Others are refurbished (A/C condensers, radiators, alternators,
starters and others).  This year, we are working toward replication of some
products in composite materials as well as fabricating others like the rear
"fishing tackle cabinet" offered in various woods.

We have a shop of about 2850 sq.ft. just off I-10 East.  Though we do not operate
a store, or do service work, GMCers are always welcome.  Just call to be
sure we are there as 9-5 hours are not typical for us (713-373-7775).

Whenever we have the opportunity, we encourage others to put sleeping GMCs
back to road worthy condition.  Some may want an empty "rolling chassis" GMC
to design and build  to their own specifications.  These will be available
after parts are removed.  There may also be a market for body and chassis
parts to insurance companies for repairing damaged GMCs.

Fuel prices may continue to escalate with major impacts on the RV industry,
but we anticipate GMC owners, many of whom are retired, will continue to
travel, perhaps taking shorter trips.  We also believe the "boomers" will
continue to discover the benefits of GMC ownership versus the more expensive
"Some Other Brands".
